Interested in taking your girls camping?
The first Troop Camp Training class of the year is coming up in a few weeks. This is a two part class, which does not require an overnight stay at camp!!
All you need to complete is a 4-hour planning session and an 8-hour skills session at camp. Here are the details:
Planning Session:
Date: Thursday, September 16th
Time: 6pm – 10pm
Location: Girl Scout Center - Cincinnati
Skills Session at Camp:
Date: Saturday, September 25th
Time: 9am – 5pm
Location: Camp Butterworth
The cost for this class is $15. This covers the cost of food and supplies for the day at camp.
The troop leader does not have to be the person who completes this course. Each troop needs at least one adult who has completed the course in order to go on a camping trip. Any registered adult, who is going to participate in the troop outdoor experience, can take the class.
